Ages 11-14
You can learn a lot from a cemetery: the age of a town, the things people believed, what they valued, and how they died. Each tomb is a tome of knowledge for those who know how to read it. In this program, students will learn to identify headstones from their material and imagery, decode the meaning behind common symbols, and piece together parts of Windsor history from stories set in stone.
