A new documentary chronicling the rich history and all the work that goes into the making of Windsor’s beloved Shad Derby will make its world premiere on Thursday, May 1, at 6:30 p.m. at The Birdcage (25 Center Street, Windsor, CT). Windsor’s Homecoming: The Shad Derby Story— a collaboration between WIN-TV and the Windsor Historical Society—celebrates the 70-year legacy of this iconic New England tradition, tracing its origins and lasting impact on the community.
